Supporting Young People Across Our Communities

Over the past few weeks, teams from across adi Group have been out in the community, inspiring young people, strengthening key partnerships and showcasing the positive role engineering plays in society.

adi Intelligent Buildings joined students at the Aston University Engineering Academy for an engaging workshop with Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The session gave young people a real insight into careers in engineering and highlighted the vital role our industry plays in supporting the NHS and the environments that enable patient care.

Meanwhile, members of adi Group’s Responsible Business Committee met with St Basils, continuing to build on our long‑standing relationship. The visit and tour of their offices helped deepen our understanding of the challenges facing young people experiencing homelessness and how organisations like ours can continue to support the essential work St Basils delivers across the region.

Finally, at the Big Bang Fair, the team helped bring STEM to life for thousands of young people. Through hands‑on activities, real conversations and a look at what a future in engineering can offer, they played a key role in sparking curiosity and confidence in the next generation.
