The award celebrates the first UK installation of a new, first‑of‑its‑kind occupancy‑based control technology, designed and installed by adi Intelligent Buildings in an emergency operating theatre at the hospital. Using Distech Controls’ Resense Move technology, the team delivered a pioneering solution that uses real‑time thermal sensing and occupancy insight to inform smarter, more efficient theatre control.
