BIRMINGHAM multidisciplined firm adi Group have been announced as finalists at the globally renowned IChemE Awards.

Established in 1994, the IChemE Global Awards are widely recognised as the world’s most prestigious design, engineering and innovation awards. They celebrate both engineering excellence as well as organisational and scientific innovation and cover the breadth of the manufacturing and process industries.

adi Group has been an award winner on previous occasions, and the engineering firm has successfully navigated a highly competitive long-list to become a finalist for the 2025 IChemE Global Awards in the award category of the Industry Project Award.

adi Group were shortlisted for their achievement in successfully self-delivering a fully Turnkey (design, development and construction) project, comprising a new facility housing multiple fully automated bulk and artisan convenience food manufacturing lines for one of its key clients.

Aside from their status as finalists, which will be decided at the IChemE Global Awards ceremony in Manchester on November 20, adi Group are, as a previous winner, once again sponsoring the Training & Development Award.

Entries for the IChemE Global Awards are reviewed and scored by a volunteer judging panel (appointed on multi-year terms) that prioritises societal benefit, sustainability and environmental impact alongside engineering and professional excellence.

This year’s programme attracted entries from more than 100 companies across 23 countries, underscoring the awards’ global reach.
