The Role
An Electrical Supervisor you will supervise and oversee small to medium sized electrical projects including the management of day work and remedial jobs, ensuring profitability at all times
Specifically, you will:
- Auditing and QS sign off of test certificates for responsible McCains Sites.
- Quoting and estimation of remedial and project work, with support from Head office as necessary
- Arrange labour and materials to complete projects on time and within budget
- To visit various sites to assess quality of work and to attend site meetings as required
- To carry out various office duties including contacting wholesalers for material quotes, completing notifications of orders and purchase order requests etc.
- To assess and write job specific method statements and risk assessments as required
- Liaise with adi Area Manager and Head Office to control labour and the day to day running of the McCains business
- Liaise with customer site engineers/contacts
- Assist/Manage large site projects as required
- Completion of on-site safety audits as required
In addition to your current responsibilities and duties at site, your new role would include typically but not limited to the following:
- The supervision of the ET&I contract electricians at McCains
- Establish and grow contact with CCE engineering personnel at site to develop remedial and project works, with support from Head Office as necessary
- To supervise and oversee small to medium sized projects at site and to deliver on time and within budget
- To liaise with Head office and/or area Manager to organise and control labor at the Edmonton site in line with testing and project works
- To carry out site audits on site as required
About You
To join us as an Electrical Supervisor, you will need:
- Have extensive experience as a senior electrician and electrical projects
- Have experience assisting on a customer site
- Have knowledge of overseeing a small to medium team
