The Role  

A Project Engineer will develop the business for adi Electrical by securing opportunities within our existing and future customers by securing additional revenue and profit whilst ensuring we maintain a strong working relationship.

Specifically, you will:

Reporting to adi Electrical Operation Manager, the responsibilities of the Project Engineer will include the following but not limited to:

  • Build & develop strong client relationships.
  • Produce accurate and detailed surveys, project costs and quotations.
  • Generate electrical designs & layouts.
  • Produce detailed works schedules.
  • Manage & deliver resources and projects plans.
  • Lead bid proposals & contract negotiations.
  • Plan and manage resource, negotiate and maintain relations with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Prepare reports and study existing technical information clearly and precisely to attain client requirements.
  • Work closely with other adi businesses
  • Ensures the execution of the contracts with proper risk management control.

About You 

To join us as a Project Engineer, you will need: 

  • Have project management skills.
  • Experience of electrical installations and testing within a process plant & commercial environment.
  • Experience of manufacturing, commercial and Industrial sector is essential.
  • Have extensive experience within the process plant and manufacturing industry (ideally in the food industry).
  • Flexible and prepared to travel nationally
  • Have proven relationship building skills
  • Have the ability to manage multiple parallel projects
  • Have strong people management skills
