The Role  

This is a senior position within our business who will be responsible for successful engagement, retention and development of contracts and customers in relation to the Electrical Compliance service offering.

Specifically, you will:

  • Oversee all elements of the Compliance division to ensure delivery of the Compliance business strategy, key performance indicators and growth objectives. Own the P&L for the areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure all tasks and activities are performed to satisfy Quality Plans and Specifications, in accordance with company policies, procedures, UK Regulations and Client requirements.
  • Ensure the timely production of accurate and detailed surveys, project costs and quotations.
  • Manage & deliver resources and projects plans.
  • Lead bid proposals & contract negotiations where necessary.
  • Plan and manage resource, to ensure timely delivery of current and future workload. Negotiate and maintain relations with vendors and subcontractors who support this.
  • Prepare reports and conduct data analysis to report back on the KPI’s to senior management.
  • Work very closely with the wider Electrical business and other adi businesses
  • Manage the team of Electricians, Supervisors, Contract Managers and support staff to deliver the Electrical compliance offering and associated projects.
  • To grow and develop the division by securing opportunities within our existing and future customers, building additional revenue and profit whilst ensuring we maintain a strong working relationship.
  • In conjunction with the sales, working supervisor and administration functions, plan operations to maximise efficiency and produce work schedules

About You 

To join us as an Electrical Compliance Divisional Manager, you will need: 

  • Have project/contract management skills.
  • Experience of electrical installations and testing within a process plant & commercial environment.
  • Experience of manufacturing, commercial and Industrial sector is essential.
  • Have extensive experience within the process or manufacturing industry (ideally in the food industry).
  • Be able to plan ahead and prioritise workload
  • Be able to follow business processes whilst managing multiple time pressured tasks
  • Understand contract requirements and the ability to establish them and deliver to meet the clients requirements
  • Be flexible and prepared to travel nationally
  • Have proven relationship building skills
  • Have the ability to manage multiple parallel projects
  • Have strong people management skills
  • Hold a full clean driving license
