The Opportunity
In 2019, adi VCS were appointed EVCP infrastructure provider to NWAS sites across the North West region by Franklin Energy.
The Solution
The team at adi VCS have been working with NWAS via Franklin Energy to deliver 33 x EVBox fast AC chargers to ambulance stations across the region. Throughout 2020 and 2021, we have continued working to help identify their EV charging needs across their 115 sites. This will enable them to support first line paramedic response from a fleet of EV’s as the organisation moves to reduce its carbon footprint.
The Benefits
There has been minimal downtime across this network, and the satisfaction of the client has enabled Franklin Energy to be contracted to roll out further chargers across the NWAS estate with adi VCS as their infrastructure specialist.
The North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust is the ambulance service for North West England. It is one of 10 Ambulance Trusts providing England with Emergency medical services, and is part of the National Health Service, receiving direct government funding for its role.
