The Opportunity
Design, supply and install a bespoke steel shelf to fit to existing Dexion pallet racking. The containers weighed a maximum of 1,500kgs and had a unique design in that the top of the container was wider (1100mm) than the base (700mm). The client wanted to keep the racking depth at 900mm deep to ensure they could continue to store their other UK pallets on the same rack.
The Solution
Each shelf had to take a 750kg load in bound of the pallet racking beam. A bespoke 5mm thick stainless steel shelf designed to ensure compatibility with the existing Dexion pallet racking system.
