adi CEO, Alan Lusty, and Business Apprentice, Jessica Horton, were delighted to appear on Big Centre TV to talk about all things Apprenticeships with BCTV’s Bob Hall.
Alan spoke about his humble beginnings in awe of his brother’s friends who were instrument apprentices and recalls being so inspired by their stories that he wished to undertake the same career path himself. He also goes on to talk about the Group’s recent 5% Club membership with our aspirations to have 5% of our workforce as apprentices by 2020.
Jess talked about her Apprenticeship journey with adi so far including being the first female member of the adi Apprentice Academy and the opportunities that her Apprenticeship has given her. One of Jess’ highlights (which we are extremely proud of) is the charity tuck shop that she set up as part of the Group’s CSR and Fundraising initiatives for adi’s Charity of the Year. The tuck shop is much loved by all adi Staff and currently supports our 2016 chosen charity of the year, Heart Research UK.
