adi Directors Prepare To Be Gunged For Local Hospice
Two Directors from Birmingham based engineering solutions firm, adi Group, are preparing to enter the chocolate gunge tank to help raise vital funds for St Mary’s Hospice.
The event, to celebrate the return of Brindley Place’s Chocival festival, is rounding up Directors from local firms to enter their Chocolate Gunge Tank. adi’s James Sopwith (Group Strategic Account Director) and Brian Imrie (Managing Director – adi Facilities Engineering) have volunteered to get gunged to help raise vital funds to support the hospice.
James Sopwith, Group Strategic Account Director added: “Supporting local causes through fundraising initiatives is a central part of our employee driven CSR Programme at adi Group. Myself and Brian are very much looking forward to raising money for St Mary’s and getting gunged in the process of course!”
‘Gunging’ will take place between 3-7pm on Friday 20th October – our target is £1,000 so that we can pull the lever and see both Brian and James gunged! If you’d like to donate and help us support St Mary’s Hospice, please visit our JustGiving Page where donations large or small are being accepted.
About St Mary’s Hospice
Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice is an independent charity providing hospice care to people across Birmingham and Sandwell.
Caring for around 1,200 people a year, many hospice patients remain at home for much of their illness, where they are supported by our Community Palliative Care and Hospice at Home teams, who work in conjunction with GPs, consultants and other medical professionals.
The Hospice helps and supports families and loved ones, no matter how young or old, throughout the patient’s illness and after bereavement, for as long as necessary.BACK TO ARTICLES
